You have both the dark and the light inside of you and your light and creative and contributive capacities can be increased. You are not broken. As psychologist Chuck Spezzano so aptly puts it:
"Our purpose is our calling and the key source of our fulfillment. Through our happiness, healing and helping, and the specific function that we have come to contribute, we become fulfilled. Fulfillment, which is the reward of great success, is antathema to the ego. All of our major traumas and problems have been set up by our ego to stop us and obfuscate our purpose. Succeeding in our purpose is creative. It means we have accomplished what we have come to accomplish."
