This 10 minute "morning collage" process involves creating a small torn paper collage, carrying it through your day, and learning to "read into" what your personal symbolism is trying to communicate. This course will lovingly show you how to accept your difficult emotions as they arise in your life and art. This e-course will also support you to better understand your emotional pain.

Meditating on your 10 Minute Collage

This course involves a commitment to meditating on a small, torn paper spontaneous collage each day for 30 days. All you need is two or three torn or cut out images and a word or a phrase.

Even a Simple Spontaneous Collage is Profound

Every second day for the next 30 days - you will receive an e-mail to encourage you towards deeper self-knowledge through spontaneous collage. Consider your collage your daily inner guidance system. A tiny journal will suffice. I use one that measures 5"x7". The aim is to create a small moment of magical spontaneity in your day. Just 10 minutes is all it takes.

Creating Quickly Bypasses Ordinary Thought

There are no hard and fast rules. You do not have to tear everything out. If you feel like cutting out an image, do. Just make sure you make your collage quickly. Grab the first 3 images that catch your eye. Add a word or a phrase. Cut out a small detail or two to embellish and then carry your notebook with you throughout the day and ask your collage, "What are you telling me?" You can make up an answer if one does not flash into your mind. Write it down by the end of the day and begin again tomorrow.

The Journey to New Depths

Consider that there are likely more parts of you that want to stay comfortably the same - thinking the same old thoughts and creating the same habits of living - than there are ones interested in achieving new depths of creative seeing and experiencing. It takes effort to go into your deeper creativity.

The Effort to See More Deeply

When we express ourselves freely and fully we feel good! When we say we want to be more creative what we are really longing for is to express more of ourselves. How much do you let yourself freely express yourself in your everyday life? If you feel that you could use a daily practice to open you up to more of yourself, let me guide you on a journey away from your mechanical, habitual compulsion to maintain the status-quo. There are invisible aspects of your True Self that need nurturing and guidance.

Seeing Your Emotions in Your Creativity

Shelley! I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this course. I think that it helped me and healed me more than being for years in therapy, reading numerous spiritual and self help books, meditating daily. I began to wait for your every lesson like for a letter from a friend. And the most amazing thing was that it felt like you could read my mind - you knew my pain. ~ Olga Rabinovich

"This class rocks! It helped me heal some wounds I've been carrying for years. The lessons were quick and fun, and I looked forward to doing them each day. I still do!"

~ M.Bryant

"I just want to thank you for your amazing lessons. You have the gift in being able to communicate the process of emotional healing in a way that is both clear and compassionate."  - Teresa H.

"Thank you for your advice and wisdom. I am getting so much from your course, each email has so much content, I feel like I am receiving counselling, I can't really express it, but the content is speaking to me and making me see and understand things that have been hidden for a long time." ~ Judith Green

Before we can consistently live in our authentic selves we need to travel through and understand the trail of unfelt emotions that we have accumulated throughout our lifetime. Spontaneous creativity expresses the truth about your feelings instead of how you wish you could feel from your socially acceptable self.

Your mind may tell you that you feel one way but your heart will always tell you a deeper truth. Spontaneous creative expression can help you bypass your self-critical mind to see and heal the emotional repression and self-rejection that happens automatically from your socialized self.

The hidden language of our deeper emotions can more easily reveal themselves through imagery and visual symbols before they shape into words. By making your inner world visual on the outside you become conscious, and whatever you can see and accept, you can transform into love.

Meditating on your feelings visually through a daily creative practice invites surprise, emotional integration, and self-love. When you allow your unconscious emotions to express visually in their "first language" of symbols to your conscious mind, you can begin to allow the darker emotions of shame, sadness, anger and fear to transform into spiritual encouragement, self-love, and inner peace.

The Magic of Spontaneous Creation

Imagery spontaneously bypasses your regular thinking mind and reveals more of what your deeper emotional self is trying to communicate. Spontaneous collage is a quick method of randomly picking a few pictures and words from magazines each day to help you discover and understand your hidden emotions.

New realizations and positive growth directions are always waiting to arrive into our conscious awareness when we invite our "felt sense" to speak in visual language. Every second day for the next 30 days, you will receive inspiration and guidance about how to more clearly understand the imagery of your emotional life as it emerges to be seen, loved, accepted and healed.
